About
I was born in Oakland, California. I graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1997, and U.C. Hastings College of the Law in 2003. I’ve been practicing law since that time. In 2009, I opened my own office to focus on criminal defense. I’m a member of the Alameda County Bar Association’s Criminal Court Appointed Attorneys’ defense panel, and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
A criminal defense lawyer is an indispensable guardian of justice and individual rights within the legal system. In a society founded on principles of fairness and due process, the role of a criminal defense lawyer cannot be overstated. We are the last line of defense for individuals accused of committing crimes, and our significance extends far beyond the confines of a courtroom. The importance of a criminal defense lawyer lies in our ability to ensure that every person, regardless of the allegations against them, is afforded a fair trial, a zealous advocate, and the protection of their constitutional rights.
